The Real World Marketing Campus: What It Is and Who Can Join

The Real World's Marketing campus explained: the short-form video campus in the app that most members can't open, and how it differs from Strategic Marketing.

Direct answer

"The Real World Marketing campus" can mean two different campuses. On the official website, the menu link "Marketing Campus" opens the Strategic Marketing campus, formerly called Copywriting: persuasive writing, copywriting and paid ads, open to every member (checked November 7, 2026). Inside the app there is also a separate campus this site calls the Marketing campus, about short-form video and social media, with courses on video editing, virality and each platform (October 26, 2026). That one isn't open to most members: according to the member behind this site, only a small group has access now, so don't join for it. The official site doesn't list it. If you want to learn marketing and sell it as a service, Strategic Marketing is the campus you can actually join, for the same $99 a month that covers every open campus. If short-form video is what you want, The Real World's own courses page points to Content Creation + AI. No campus guarantees an income.

People who search for the Marketing campus of The Real World, the online learning platform formerly called Hustlers University, land on two different things, and only one of them is open to new members. This page sorts them out, using the official site (checked November 7, 2026), the campus list inside the app from the member account behind this site (October 26, 2026), and what that member told us. It isn’t a first-hand review of the Marketing campus lessons. For every campus side by side, see the guide to The Real World campuses.

Which “Marketing campus” do you mean?

So if you clicked “Marketing Campus” on the official site, you were reading about Strategic Marketing. The rest of this page covers the app campus first, then how the two differ.

What is the Marketing campus in the app?

It is a campus about making short-form videos and growing social media accounts. In the app’s campus list of the member account behind this site, its full label is Affiliate Marketing (October 26, 2026); this site’s campus page shortens it to Marketing. The Learning Center cards read (descriptions are the cards’ own words):

Course What the card says
1 - Start Here Its first module has nine lessons, from Welcome to THE BOOTCAMP and Three Step Process to Account & Uploading Warning
2 - Video Editing “Learn how to create viral short-form content, just like the Tate pages on your FYP”
3 - Library & Resources “We have unlimited resources, get access & learn to navigate them here”
4 - FUNDAMENTALS “Lessons from Luc explaining the fundamentals of social media & virality”
5 - Platform Lessons “Learn what matters on each social media platform, so you can go from 0 to 100k followers ASAP”

Read “0 to 100k followers ASAP” as a course title, not a promise; The Real World publishes no figures on how many members reach it.

The #start-here channel, October 26, 2026: “simply go to the "Courses" tab and go through module "1 - Start Here"”. Names are blurred.

Around the courses, the channel list shows #tasklist (“Your daily task list”), #new-lessons-now, #luc-rants, a leaderboard, #challenge, #30-day-challenge and a #daily-winners channel under a group called Immortal Dragon Challenge (October 26, 2026). A staff post in #start-here says “It’s very simple to get started”: go to the Courses tab and work through module 1 - Start Here.

Who can join the Marketing campus?

Most members can’t. The member behind this site, a member since 2022, says it is “no longer available to normal people” and is now a very small group. His explanation, in his words: “Too many people were posting short clips that were actually hurting the platform, so they had to kick a lot of people out…” That is his account (October 28, 2026); The Real World hasn’t published a statement on it that we could find.

What that means for you:

  • Don’t join for this campus. If you join today, expect not to see it.
  • Check your own app. Campus lists can change, and we can’t say who gets access or how.
  • The official site won’t help. It doesn’t list the campus at all (checked November 7, 2026).

How is it different from Strategic Marketing?

Marketing campus (app) Strategic Marketing
Former name None on the official site Copywriting. The official FAQ says the Copywriting Campus “became the Strategic Marketing Campus” “because the work grew past writing”
Official page None jointherealworld.com/courses/marketing, linked as “Marketing Campus” in the official menu
What it teaches Short-form video, virality and each social platform “copywriting, persuasion and paid ads”, “the skills businesses pay for every month”
In the app Courses 1 - Start Here to 5 - Platform Lessons Start Here - What is Strategic Marketing?, then 1 - Strategic Marketing Bootcamp, through to 5 - Advanced Persuasion
How members earn The course cards are about growing accounts; the public pages say nothing more Writing for clients, marketing your own business, or, “once you have earned the campus certificate”, paid contracts in an internal marketplace (official FAQ)
Capital Not stated “It needs no capital”
Open to Not most members Every member
Our review This page Strategic Marketing campus review, from the member behind this site

In short: Strategic Marketing is about the words that sell, and you can join it. The app’s Marketing campus is about short videos and follower growth, and you probably can’t.

What if you want to learn marketing?

Then the campus you can join is Strategic Marketing. The official FAQ says you don’t need to be a good writer already, only to “write a clear sentence” and be willing to write a lot of them. On money, it is plain: “Nobody here promises you a number.”

Strategic Marketing has a busy wins channel: we counted 26 posts on October 30, 2026, on our What’s new page. Posts are what members choose to share, not typical results. For what students in The Real World’s own interviews say they made, see Real World copywriting income; those are their figures as stated, not typical results.

What if you want to learn short-form video?

The Real World’s courses page answers this directly: “An interest in short-form video: Content Creation + AI, where you learn to edit and create video for businesses with AI.” In the app that campus is called AI Creative. See the Content Creation + AI campus review and the Content Creation + AI campus page.

Not sure which to pick? Which Real World campus to start with compares them by what you have today: money, time and skills.

What does it cost?

One membership: $99 a month on the official checkout (checked November 7, 2026), or $996 a year when we last checked the yearly price on October 19, 2026. The official courses page says “One membership covers every campus”, and that includes Strategic Marketing and Content Creation + AI. It doesn’t get you into the app’s Marketing campus if that campus isn’t open to you. See The Real World price breakdown.

When this doesn’t apply

  • If the Marketing campus is already open to you. Then the access question is settled, and the course list above is what you’ll find (as of October 26, 2026).
  • If The Real World reopens it. We found no announcement; if one appears, this page will need updating.
  • No first-hand verdict on the Marketing lessons. This page doesn’t include the site owner’s own experience of the campus’s courses.
  • No guaranteed results. The Real World’s Terms of Use say it doesn’t guarantee that the subscription “will result in any particular financial, business or commercial outcome”.

What to do next

If you want marketing skills you can sell, read the Strategic Marketing campus page and the Strategic Marketing campus review. If you want short-form video, read the Content Creation + AI campus review. Then check the current plans on the plan page. From there you go to The Real World’s official checkout to join.
