Ramy took an existing web design agency from 4K to 12K a month: a Business Mastery case study

Netherlands flagRamy, 24NetherlandsBusiness Mastery campusThe Real World’s own interview, 4 minutes. It loads only when you press play.

Ramy runs a digital agency that makes websites for clients, with a team that starts each Monday with a meeting. In a student interview published on The Real World’s own website, with a caption giving the age as 24 and a Dutch flag, Ramy says the agency did “around 4K roughly a month” and, after applying “some of the principles that are teached in The Real World”, is “around 12K a month”.

Two things to know first: this is not a from-zero story. Ramy’s company “has been around for around three years” and Ramy joined The Real World “exactly a year ago”, so the agency was about two years old, with clients, before Ramy joined. And the campus: The Real World’s caption files Ramy under Business Mastery; Ramy doesn’t name a campus in the video, and talks about the coaches, the community and “a really good formula to how business works”. Below: what Ramy says, in Ramy’s own words and step by step; what the Business Mastery campus looks like inside; wins and reviews from other members; and who this path suits. The full transcript is under “What Ramy said”. Everything here comes from the interview, The Real World’s own caption and app, or the sources listed at the end.

At a glance

  • Who

Ramy. The Real World’s caption gives the age as 24 and shows a Dutch flag; Ramy doesn’t state an age or a country in the video.

  • Starting point

Not from zero: “I have a digital agency where we make websites for our clients of ours” (0:15). “My company has been around for around three years” (0:32), and Ramy joined “exactly a year ago” (0:39).

  • Campus

The caption says Business Mastery. Ramy doesn’t name a campus, and credits the coaches, the community and “mindset and focus” (1:26).

  • Timeline

Joined a year before the interview. The video doesn’t name the year; it was on The Real World’s home page by 8 June 2023.

  • Result (video)

“We did around 4K roughly a month with the web design agency” (1:47), “and now we’re around 12K a month” (2:02). Ramy gives no currency and doesn’t say whether it is revenue or profit.

  • Result (caption)

The Real World’s caption: “New revenue: $12k/month”, and “The Real World took Ramy’s web design agency from $4,000/month to $12,000/month.”

  • The business

A team: “we always start the Monday fresh with a team meeting”, then “client meetings and sales calls” (0:17).

The caption and Ramy agree on the figures, 4,000 to 12,000 a month; the caption adds the dollar sign and calls it revenue, and credits The Real World with the growth. Ramy says the agency already existed and that the change came from applying “real focus and marketing efforts”. The figures are Ramy’s and The Real World’s own; this site hasn’t seen the accounts.

What Ramy said

6 lines from the interview, copied exactly, each with what it means in plain English. The times are where they fall in the video.

“I have a digital agency where we make websites for our clients of ours.”

Ramy, at 0:15 in the video

What it means: The business came first: a web design agency with a team.

“My company has been around for around three years.”

Ramy, at 0:32 in the video

What it means: Ramy joined “exactly a year ago”, so the agency was about two years old, with clients, before The Real World.

“We did around 4K roughly a month with the web design agency.”

Ramy, at 1:47 in the video

What it means: Where the agency was when Ramy joined, by Ramy’s account.

“And now we’re around 12K a month.”

Ramy, at 2:02 in the video

What it means: About three times as much, a year on. Ramy gives no currency and doesn’t say whether it is revenue or profit.

“They have a really good formula to how business works in general in multiple niches and markets.”

Ramy, at 1:28 in the video

What it means: What Ramy took from it: a way of working, applied “with real focus”, rather than a new business model.

“You can just have coaches that can help you with the process and just guide you there easier and faster.”

Ramy, at 2:33 in the video

What it means: Ramy’s view: the results are possible alone, “but it really takes a long time”.

What Ramy did, step by step

  1. Ramy ran a web design agency

“a digital agency where we make websites for our clients”, “around for around three years” by the interview.

    In the video at 0:15

  2. Ramy joined The Real World

“exactly a year ago”, expecting “the community side of it” (3:15): people who “must have the same ambitions in life”.

    In the video at 0:39

  3. Ramy used the wins as a push

“you see wins and everyone winning every day. So it motivates you to also win”.

    In the video at 1:05

  4. Ramy worked on mindset and focus

“the other part was mindset and focus”: “if you just apply that with real focus, then you will get results”.

    In the video at 1:24

  5. Ramy applied it to the agency

“we applied some of the principles that are teached in The Real World, like real focus and marketing efforts”: from “around 4K roughly a month” to “around 12K a month”.

    In the video at 1:47

  6. Ramy runs it with a team

Mondays start with “a team meeting to get everyone on schedule”, then “client meetings and sales calls”.

Transcribed on 26 October 2026 from the interview audio with Whisper speech recognition (run locally), then checked against a second full pass and a re-run of every part with two models: punctuation fixed, nothing added; “[unclear]” marks words the passes don’t agree on. “This morning around 9pm” (0:08) is as spoken. At 2:20 most passes hear “without the reward”, which is probably “without The Real World”; it is marked [unclear]. Speaker labels are ours. The interviewer is from The Real World. The $50 mentioned was the price at the time; today it is $99 a month on the official checkout.

0:00 Interviewer: Could you just give a brief rundown of your day? Just what's happened so far?

0:05 Ramy: Yeah, so far I had a lot of client meetings, actually, today. We started out this morning around 9pm, and then we just started to do Zoom calls with the team. I have a digital agency where we make websites for our clients of ours. So we always start the Monday fresh with a team meeting to get everyone on schedule. And after that, I did some client meetings and sales calls.

0:28 Interviewer: And how long have you had the company or business or agency?

0:32 Ramy: My company has been around for around three years. Yeah.

0:35 Interviewer: Three years. And when did you join The Real World?

0:39 Ramy: Joined The Real World exactly a year ago. Yeah.

0:43 Interviewer: So since then, how has your company scaled? How has The Real World helped your company scale?

0:49 Ramy: Yeah, The Real World has helped in a lot of different ways. I can say it really did help on the personal side as well as for business, because those two usually go hand in hand. If you go well in personal life, the business goes well with it. It's just how life works. So you can also see that inside of The Real World, you have a community, and that is also really motivating, because you see wins and everyone winning every day. So it motivates you to also win, because if you're not winning, then you'll be left out, and you say, okay, what am I doing wrong? Because if other people can achieve the same results, you can also do that. So that's really one part of it, but the other part was mindset and focus. They have a really good formula to how business works in general in multiple niches and markets. And if you just apply that with real focus, then you will get results immediately. So that's how it works.

1:43 Interviewer: Okay, and what about in terms of figures? How has it helped your company scale since joining?

1:47 Ramy: Definitely. We did around 4K roughly a month with the web design agency. And then we applied some of the principles that are teached in The Real World, like real focus and marketing efforts. And we just applied that. And now we're around 12K a month.

2:05 Interviewer: So how different have those lessons been for you compared to what's out there on the internet?

2:11 Ramy: That's a really good question, because the lessons itself, you can experience it yourself as well, but it takes a long while. You can achieve those results without [unclear], for example, you can. But it really takes a long time for you to get there. And why would you waste your time doing it yourself? You can just have coaches that can help you with the process and just guide you there easier and faster. So it really helps you.

2:41 Interviewer: And more on those coaches, how they have helped you, and about them?

2:45 Ramy: Yeah, because there's a lot, the internet is cluttered with a lot of information, right? So you have a lot of people that are saying this thing is right or that thing is right. But which of those is right? You have to test, you have to experiment. But with the coaches, they really say this is the right formula and principle. And they teach you that. And you just have to listen and apply it. And then you will get the results. So that's the real benefit of The Real World, I would say.

3:07 Interviewer: What were you expecting before going in, and maybe how different was it from your expectations after joining?

3:15 Ramy: Like, what I expected from The Real World was the community side of it. I was like, okay, all those people that are into this community must have the same ambitions in life and the same principles in terms of business and money and personal finance, like that. So I was like, okay, it's a really motivating place to be, and it's just the right one, and one of the best one in the world, communities in the world, I think I can say for sure.

3:40 Interviewer: For people who are thinking for $50 that The Real World might be a scam, what advice would you have to them?

3:47 Ramy: It isn't a scam, I can say for sure, because the value is there. It's just for you to apply it and just take action with it. If you say it's a scam, it just isn't really a good statement to make, because it's just you versus yourself, and you just have to take, you have to take the information in, consume it and just apply it, and then it will work. That's it.

What the Business Mastery campus offers

What the Business Mastery campus looks like from a member’s account, how a new member starts, and what the support is like. The Business Mastery campus page covers what it teaches.

The Start Here channel of the Business Mastery campus in The Real World app: “Now Click On The Button Below To Get To 10k+/Mo And Beyond.”, a link to the BM Intro lesson and the Business Mastery Roadmap graphic, beside the channel list (Start Here, BM Announcements, BM Wins, Leaderboard, Introduce Yourself, Daily GM, Daily Tate Lesson, Daily SEO Task, Content In A Box, Daily Business Puzzle, Google-Domination). Names blurred.

The Learning Center, 26 October 2026: Start Here, “30 days to 10k/Month In 2026”, Claude Lessons (“This is how we will use AI to make your business more money”), Business Masterclass, Daily Tate Lessons and Long Form Arno. More cards may sit below.

How you get started

  1. Join and pick Business Mastery

One membership covers every campus: $99 a month or $996 a year on the official checkout. The official campus page says it “needs no capital to begin”.

  2. Open Start Here

The first channel under “START HERE TO MAKE MONEY”. Its post ends “Now Click On The Button Below To Get To 10k+/Mo And Beyond.” and links to the “BM Intro” lesson.

  3. Follow the roadmap

The Business Mastery Roadmap asks “Already have a business?” No: “30 Days To $10k/Month” (“Build Your Own Marketing Agency”), then the Business Masterclass (“Master Critical Business Skills”). Yes: the Business Masterclass first (“Sharpen Your Business Skills”), then “30 Days To $10k/Month” (“To Learn SEO and Paid Ads”). Both lead to “Reach $10k Per Month” and “Apply and join $10k+/month club!”

  4. Work through the Learning Center

The courses on show: Start Here, “30 days to 10k/Month In 2026” (“a step-by-step, day-by-day plan”, the card says), Claude Lessons, the Business Masterclass (“sales, marketing, networking, outreach, and much, much more”), Daily Tate Lessons and Long Form Arno. The channels under “CHECK THIS DAILY TO MAKE $$$” add a Daily GM, a Daily Tate Lesson and a Daily SEO Task.

  5. If you already have a business

The roadmap’s “Yes” branch starts with the Business Masterclass (“Sharpen Your Business Skills”). Ramy came in with an agency already running and applied “real focus and marketing efforts” to it (1:56).

What support is like

  • Chats. The channel list a member sees: Start Here, BM Announcements, BM Wins, Leaderboard and Introduce Yourself, then the daily channels and “HOMEWORK / MARKETING” (Content In A Box, Daily Business Puzzle, Google-Domination). Ramy: “you see wins and everyone winning every day. So it motivates you to also win” (1:07). The Real World publishes no response-time promise.
  • Professor. The public campus page names no professor; it says the campus “is taught by a professor who runs businesses for a living”. Inside the app one course is called “Long Form Arno”. Ramy speaks of “coaches”: “they really say this is the right formula and principle. And they teach you that” (2:56), without naming one.
  • BM Wins and the Leaderboard. The campus has its own wins channel and a leaderboard (Start Here screenshot). No posts from it have been captured for this site yet.
  • No guarantee. The Real World’s Terms of Use say it doesn’t guarantee any financial outcome. Every campus starts from the fundamentals and assumes no prior knowledge.

Real wins and reviews

No posts from the Business Mastery campus’s own #wins channel have been captured for this site yet, so these are other members’ wins from across The Real World, with names and avatars blurred (any that show this campus come first). Tap any screenshot to see it full size. They are individual results, not typical ones, and not a promise: The Real World doesn’t publish average member earnings.

The jointherealworld.com.de profile was not run by The Real World; reviewers used it anyway. They are reviews of The Real World as a whole, not of one campus, and other people’s words, not this site’s findings.

“The biggest thing for me, besides the lessons and the professors, is the community. You have a problem, ask a question in chat, fixed in 5 minutes.”

Sergiu (RO), 27 Dec 2022 · archived www.cobratate.com page

Is this path for you?

It may suit you if

  • You already run a business and want it to grow. Ramy’s agency was about two years old on joining.
  • You want a method to follow. Ramy: “They have a really good formula to how business works”.
  • Other people’s wins push you on. Ramy: “it motivates you to also win”.
  • You want the general skills every business needs, sales and communication above all, rather than one business model.

It may not suit you if

  • You expect Ramy’s 12K a month from a standing start. Ramy came in with an agency, clients and a team.
  • You can only give it the odd hour. The official courses page says “the checklist expects a few focused hours per day” and that “Members who treat it as a side interest see little.”
  • You need a guaranteed return. The Real World’s Terms of Use say it doesn’t guarantee any financial outcome, and Ramy’s figures are Ramy’s own.

Ramy’s numbers are one student’s account, given in an interview The Real World chose to publish, about a business that existed before Ramy joined. For the campus itself, see the Business Mastery campus page and the guide to The Real World campuses.
