The Real World Fitness Campus Review: What's Inside
The Real World's Fitness campus (Health & Fitness in the app) reviewed: the workout and diet plans, whether you need a gym, the time it asks for, and who it suits.

Direct answer
The Fitness campus is the part of The Real World about training and nutrition rather than making money. The official page says it builds "a disciplined, resilient body and mind with a proven training and nutrition programme", suits any starting level, and offers daily workout plans for all body types plus custom dietary plans and recipes (checked October 31, 2026). You don't need a gym: the official FAQ says it has programmes for a "full gym, home gym with minimal equipment, and bodyweight-only", and suggests 30 to 45 minutes a day. Inside the app it is called Health & Fitness, with courses such as Fitness Programs, Health Programs and Tools. It comes with the same $99-a-month membership as every other campus; there is no fitness-only plan. It isn't a way to make money, and anyone with a health condition should check with a doctor before starting a new training or diet plan.
The Fitness campus is the one campus in The Real World, the online learning platform formerly called Hustlers University, that isn’t about making money. This review uses the official campus page (checked October 31, 2026), what the campus shows inside the app from the member account behind this site (October 26, 2026), and the NHS’s activity guidelines as a neutral yardstick. It isn’t a first-hand account of following the programmes. For every campus side by side, see the guide to The Real World campuses.
What does the Fitness campus teach?
The official intro: “The Fitness Campus builds a disciplined, resilient body and mind with a proven training and nutrition programme. It is the campus that keeps the rest of your work going, suits any starting level, and is taught by a professor who trains people for a living.” The page says the campus was created because “health is wealth”, and lists three groups of what it offers:
| Group | What the official page lists |
|---|---|
| Personal trainers | Certified personal trainers and bodybuilders, and coaches focused on your physique |
| Personalised plans | “Get Daily Workout Plans For All Body Types”, “Custom Dietary Plans & Recipes”, and articles for your body type |
| “Forbidden knowledge” | Headings such as “Exclusive Insight Into Tapping Into Your DNA”, bio-hacking and “Ancient Health Secrets” |
Treat the third group as marketing headings. The public page doesn’t say what sits behind them, and we haven’t seen it.
What does it look like inside the app?
In the app the campus is called Health & Fitness (October 26, 2026). Its Learning Center opens with six courses: Start Here, Fitness Programs (“Forge Your Fitness Journey with Alex’s Iron Body Program”), Health Programs (“Improve Your Health, Increase Performance & Prevent Illnesses”), Tools (“Calculators To Identify Your Health & Fitness Goals”), Testosterone Restoration Therapy and Fitness Lives.

- How you start. The Start Here course has four lessons: Introduction, Why Health & Fitness is Important, Mind, Body & Soul, and a Legal Disclaimer. Fitness Programs, Health Programs and Testosterone Restoration Therapy are locked at the start; Tools and Fitness Lives are open from day one.
- Daily check-ins. Under “Fitness check-in” there are Fitness GM, Fitness Checklist and an Accountability Channel.
- Community. Channels include Transformation Monthly, Fitness Wins and Before And After, and a Competitions group lists Trial By Combat, Trial By Fire and The Trials.
- Live sessions. The Fitness Lives course holds catch-ups of recent live sessions.
The wins channel is quiet: on Thursday October 29, 2026, Fitness Wins had one new post, a 30 push-up personal record, as counted on our What’s new page. The Health & Fitness campus page on this site has the rest of the screenshots.
Who teaches the Fitness campus?
The official page names no one. It says the campus is “taught by a professor who trains people for a living”, and that you can “Learn from and ask questions to the personal trainer of the Tate brothers”. Note what that says: you ask questions of their trainer, not of the Tates. In the app, the Fitness Programs and Fitness Lives cards name Alex, and the member behind this site confirms that Alex is the campus’s trainer (October 31, 2026).
Do you need a gym?
No. The official FAQ says the campus “includes programs for all environments — full gym, home gym with minimal equipment, and bodyweight-only”. It also says “programs are designed for all levels”, from complete beginners to advanced athletes, and that it works outside the US because “The principles of fitness, nutrition, and discipline are universal”.
How much time does it take, and how soon will you see results?
The official FAQ says “Even 30–45 minutes a day of focused training will produce real results.” For a neutral yardstick, the NHS advises adults to “do at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity a week or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity activity a week”, plus strengthening activities “on at least 2 days a week”. Thirty minutes on five days a week adds up to 150 minutes.
On results, the FAQ says “Many students notice significant changes within the first 4–8 weeks”. That is The Real World’s claim; it publishes no data behind it. The same answer adds: “Results will vary based on individual effort and consistency.”
What does it cost?
| Cost | What we know |
|---|---|
| Membership | $99 a month on the official checkout (checked October 31, 2026), or $996 a year when we last checked the yearly price on October 19, 2026. One membership covers every campus, so there is no separate fitness price. |
| Gym | Optional, per the official FAQ |
| Food, equipment, supplements | The Real World states no figure. Whatever you already spend on food, and any kit you choose to buy, comes on top. |
See The Real World price breakdown for the plans.
Is it worth joining The Real World only for fitness?
That depends on what you want from the money. The Real World sells no fitness-only plan, so you pay the full membership, and most of what it covers is the money-making campuses. The official page pitches fitness as “the campus that keeps the rest of your work going”, which fits someone who is already joining for another campus. If fitness is all you want, compare the price with any other training or coaching you could pay for, and look at the review of whether The Real World is worth it first.
Who is the Fitness campus right for?
- Members already joining for another campus who want training and diet plans without a separate subscription.
- Beginners. The official FAQ says no prior fitness experience is needed.
- People without a gym. Home and bodyweight programmes are included.
Who should skip it?
- Anyone looking to make money from it. It is about health, not income.
- Under-18s without a parent’s say. The official page says “we encourage anyone under the age of 18 to consult a parent or guardian before signing up for TRW”. See The Real World age requirement.
- Anyone who needs medical guidance. A training app isn’t a doctor. That goes double for a course on testosterone: we haven’t reviewed it, and hormone questions belong with a doctor.
When this doesn’t apply
- Health first. If you have a health condition, an injury or take medication, check with a doctor before starting a new training or diet plan. That is general good practice, not something The Real World says on its page.
- No first-hand verdict yet. This review doesn’t include the site owner’s own experience of the campus.
- The app changes. Course names and channels are as they were on October 26, 2026; the official wording is as checked on October 31, 2026.
- No promised results. Changes to your body depend on what you do, and The Real World itself says results will vary.
