The Real World Crypto Trading Campus Review: Who It Suits
The Real World's Crypto Trading campus (Trading Campus in the app) reviewed: what it teaches, whether it's day trading, the costs, the risks and who should skip it.

Direct answer
The Crypto Trading campus, called Trading Campus inside The Real World app, teaches trading crypto on charts over short time frames. The Real World is the online learning platform formerly called Hustlers University, and one membership opens every campus. The official site says the campus "covers technical analysis, entries and exits and the discipline to follow your plan". In the app, as seen from the member account behind this site on October 26, 2026, new members complete Start Here and The Foundation and pass a Campus Intro Quiz before Trader Bootcamp and Trading Lessons unlock. The campus is included in the $99-a-month membership, but you trade with your own money, and The Real World states no amount. Its own FAQ says you can lose part or all of what you put in, and nothing taught is financial advice. It suits people with spare capital who can follow rules and accept losses. It doesn't suit anyone who needs the money, wants copy-and-paste signals, or wants a guaranteed result.
The Crypto Trading campus is The Real World’s course on trading crypto from charts. The Real World is the online learning platform formerly called Hustlers University, and one membership opens every campus. Inside the app the campus is called Trading Campus. This review uses the official Crypto Campus page, the app as seen from the member account behind this site, and the risk warnings of the UK and US regulators. It is not based on our own trading results, and it isn’t financial advice. For the other campuses, see the guide to The Real World campuses.
What does the Crypto Trading campus teach?
Reading price charts and placing trades by fixed rules. The official crypto FAQ says the Crypto Trading Campus “covers technical analysis, entries and exits and the discipline to follow your plan.”
The official courses card says “Learn to analyse charts, manage risk, and execute trades”, and lists “Read candlesticks like a language”, support and resistance, and risk-to-reward ratios. The same card promises trades “that compound into real wealth”. That is The Real World’s marketing, and we don’t repeat it as fact.
The official page lists what both crypto campuses include:
- “124+ Video Lessons” from beginner to expert;
- daily market analysis and global liquidity updates;
- “24/7 crypto & stock market calls”;
- a private chat and community;
- once you have progressed through the campus, “reviews of your professor’s own trades and the reasoning behind each one”.
Crypto Trading has no official page of its own. On October 31, 2026, the address /courses/crypto-trading on the official site redirected to the shared Crypto Campus page. This site’s Trading Campus page gathers the details.
What happens when you join the Trading Campus?
This is what the app showed the member account behind this site on October 26, 2026. The #start-here channel says: “Here’s what you need to do right away: Go to the Learning Centre … and follow these steps.” The steps:
- Complete Start Here. Its module, Trading Campus Introduction, has two lessons: Welcome to Crypto Trading and Trading Campus Explained.
- Complete The Foundation, described as “How to get the most out of this campus”.
- Take the Campus Intro Quiz. A pass unlocks Trader Bootcamp, Trading Lessons, Prof’s Analysis and Trading Chats.
The Learning Center also lists Weekend Workshop and Daily Videos, both locked at the start. The Daily Videos card reads “Michael’s daily market analysis & live streams”. The official page names no professor, and the campus title card at the top of this page reads “BY PROF. MICHAEL”.

For help, the channel adds: “If at any time you get stuck, just go over to #beginner-help and someone will help you!” The Real World publishes no response-time promise.
Does The Real World teach day trading?
Not in those words. The official site never says “day trading”. It talks about technical analysis, entries and exits, and daily market analysis. What we saw in the app points to short time frames being part of the campus:
- Daily and live content. The Daily Videos course holds daily analysis and live streams, and #trading-announcements posts the Weekend Workshop go-live times (“We go LIVE at 5pm UTC”).
- Event streams. On October 28, 2026 the campus ran an “FOMC Day Super Stream” to watch the US Federal Reserve rate decision live, and on October 29 an “Alt Edge” live call.
- Leverage. A member’s post in #trading-wins on October 29, 2026 described a trade on a 15-minute chart with 5x leverage. That is one member’s post, not a lesson, but it shows leverage is in use. Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains.
We haven’t confirmed lesson by lesson whether the campus teaches intraday trading, swing trading or both, or how it teaches futures and leverage. If that matters to you, check the lesson list inside the app before you trade. These dated observations are on the Inside The Real World page.
The US SEC’s guide to day trading warns that “Day traders typically suffer severe financial losses in their first months of trading”, and that “educational” seminars, classes and books about day trading “may not be objective”. That guide dates from 2005, but the warning applies to any trading course, this one included.
Are the “calls” signals you can copy?
The official page doesn’t call them signals. It lists market calls and, after you progress, reviews of the professor’s own trades “and the reasoning behind each one”, which reads as teaching rather than copy trading. We haven’t confirmed how the calls work inside the campus.
Be careful with anything that looks like copy trading. The US CFTC warns about schemes that “promise unreasonably high or guaranteed returns” and tells consumers to “Get a second opinion”. The SEC adds that “A celebrity endorsement does not mean” an investment is appropriate, or even legitimate. These are general warnings, not findings about The Real World.
What does it cost beyond the $99 membership?
The campus is included in the membership: $99 a month on the official checkout, checked October 31, 2026, or $996 a year (last confirmed on October 19, 2026). On top of that:
- Trading capital. Your own money. The Real World states no amount; its FAQ says “You need capital you can afford to lose.”
- Fees and spreads. Every exchange charges them, and frequent trading means paying them often. The CFTC tells consumers to “consider the impact fees, spreads” and subscription costs would have on returns.
- Tax. The FCA notes that “tax may be payable on any gains”.
- Charting tools. The Start Now course of the Crypto Investing campus has a lesson on TradingView. We haven’t confirmed whether the Trading Campus needs a paid charting plan.
- Time. The official courses page says the checklist “expects a few focused hours per day”.
Crypto Trading, Crypto Investing or Crypto Altcoins?
| Campus | What it covers (official wording) | Time frame |
|---|---|---|
| Trading Campus (Crypto Trading) | Technical analysis, entries and exits | Short; daily analysis and live streams |
| Crypto Investing | Building a portfolio with bear markets in mind | Months and years |
| Crypto Altcoins | Smaller coins; its own page calls them “high risk, high reward” | Varies |
All three are in the same membership, and all three use your own money. The Crypto Investing campus review covers the portfolio side and its Masterclass.
Looking for stocks? On October 30, 2026 the Trading Campus menu showed a section labelled “Stocks (being merged)”. What happened to the Stocks campus has the dates.
When this doesn’t apply: the risks and limits
- You can’t afford to lose the money. The FCA says crypto assets “are all high risk and speculative”.
- You have no capital yet. The Real World’s own FAQ: “If you have no capital yet, a campus that sells a skill is the place to start.” The guide to whether you need money for The Real World lists those campuses.
- You want signals to copy. The campus is presented as education, and copying anyone’s trades means taking their risk without their reasoning.
- You can’t accept losing trades. Losses are part of trading, even for people who follow their rules.
- You want a guarantee. The Real World’s Terms of Use say it “does not guarantee that use of the Subscriptions will result in any particular financial, business or commercial outcome.”
- This review’s limits. It describes the official pages and what the app showed on given dates. It doesn’t judge the quality of the lessons, and it reports no trading results, ours or anyone else’s.
What to do next
Read the Trading Campus page for the app’s getting-started steps. If trading is the only reason you’d join, read whether The Real World is worth it first, then see the plans on the plan page.
