What Happened to the Stocks Campus in The Real World?

The Real World dropped its Stocks campus from the official list in October 2024. The dated timeline, the 'being merged' label seen in the app in 2026, and what that means for you.

Direct answer

The Real World no longer lists a Stocks campus. The Real World is the online learning platform formerly called Hustlers University. Its official homepage still listed Stocks on October 4, 2024, and it was gone from the homepage by October 10, 2024. By January 2025 the old Stocks campus page redirected to the homepage. In October 2026 the official courses page lists ten campuses and none of them is Stocks, and the campus list in the member account behind this site had twelve campuses and no Stocks either. One newer sign: on October 30, 2026, the Trading Campus menu in the app showed a section labelled "Stocks (being merged)". The Real World hasn't announced what is being merged or when it will finish, and it has never given a public reason for removing the campus. Stock-market content survives on the official crypto page as "24/7 crypto & stock market calls". If stocks are your only reason to join, wait until the app shows stock lessons.

The Stocks campus was The Real World’s course on trading the stock market. The Real World is the online learning platform formerly called Hustlers University, and one membership opens every campus. Stocks left the official campus list in October 2024, and in October 2026 it is still not a campus of its own. This page gives the dated evidence from The Real World’s own pages, archived copies and the app, and keeps what is confirmed apart from what isn’t. For the campuses you can join today, see the guide to The Real World campuses.

Is there still a Stocks campus in The Real World?

Not as a separate campus. Three checks, each dated:

Where we looked What it showed When
The official courses page Ten campuses: AI Automation, Ecommerce, Strategic Marketing, Client Acquisition, Business Mastery, Crypto Trading, Crypto Investing, Crypto Altcoins, Content Creation + AI and Fitness. No Stocks October 31, 2026
The official address /courses/stocks “Not found” October 31, 2026
The app’s campus list, member account behind this site Twelve campuses, no Stocks October 26, 2026
The Trading Campus menu in the app A section labelled “Stocks (being merged)”, with its own trading-wins channel, above the Trading Campus channels October 30, 2026

The last row is the newest sign. It suggests stock-market content is being folded into the Trading Campus. The Real World hasn’t said what is being merged, from where, or when it will finish, so treat it as work in progress. The observation is logged on the Inside The Real World page.

When did the Stocks campus disappear?

In early October 2024. The timeline, from The Real World’s own pages:

When What the official site or app showed
November 2022 The Hustlers University sales page lists “Stocks and Options” among its courses
October 2023 The official Stocks campus banner reads “WELCOME TO THE STOCKS CAMPUS” and “BY PROF. AAYUSH” (the image at the top of this page)
April 2024 The official homepage’s campus list includes Stocks
September 2024 A Stocks campus page is live, covering long-term investing and short-term trading, including stock and options trading
October 4, 2024 The homepage still links to the Stocks campus
October 10, 2024 Stocks is gone from the homepage menu and campus list
January 7, 2025 The old /stocks-campus address redirects to the homepage (archive record, status 302)
October 2026 Not on the official list or in the app’s campus list; a “Stocks (being merged)” section appears in the Trading Campus menu (October 30)

So Stocks left the public list between October 4 and October 10, 2024. We found no announcement, and The Real World has never published a reason. We won’t guess one.

What did the Stocks campus teach?

In 2024 The Real World described it as learning to “use technical analysis to find situations where there’s a higher upside than downside”. The September 2024 page covered both long-term investing and short-term trading, including stock and options trading. This site keeps that 2024 description, clearly labelled, on the Stocks campus page.

That archived page also showed members’ claimed monthly earnings. We don’t repeat those figures: they were marketing, and we can’t verify them.

Where did the stock-market content go?

Here is what is confirmed, and what isn’t:

  • Confirmed (official site, October 31, 2026): the Crypto Campus page lists “24/7 crypto & stock market calls”, and says its in-house experts help students “maximize their benefit from crypto and the stock market”. The Altcoins page carries the same “calls” line. No campus on the official list has “stocks” in its name.
  • Confirmed (app, October 30, 2026): the “Stocks (being merged)” section in the Trading Campus menu.
  • Not confirmed: an unofficial site using The Real World’s name claimed in 2026 that the Stocks teachings were merged into the Crypto Trading and Crypto Investing campuses. It cited no source.
  • Not confirmed: which lessons, if any, cover shares or index funds today. Only the app’s lesson lists can settle that.

For the trading side, read the Crypto Trading campus review; for the long-term portfolio side, the Crypto Investing campus review.

What did former Stocks students do?

Some moved to other campuses. In The Real World’s interview with Ryan, a student who later built an ecommerce store, Ryan says: “At first I started with stocks … But then after that, I didn’t do too well in there. So I switched to e-commerce” (0:47). The full story is in Ryan’s case study. One student’s path isn’t a pattern, but it shows the membership lets you switch campuses without paying again. The guide to which campus to start with has more.

Do you still need $25,000 to day trade US stocks?

Not under the new US rule. FINRA, the US broker regulator, says “There’s no $25,000 minimum equity requirement for day trading” under changes effective June 4, 2026, with a transition period through October 20, 2027 for brokers that need more time. So many older “you need $25k” claims are out of date, but your broker may still apply the old rule for now.

FINRA adds that “frequent trading with margin remains a high-risk activity”. A lower entry bar doesn’t make trading safer.

When this doesn’t apply: the limits

  • Stocks are your only reason to join. Until the app shows stock lessons you can use, don’t join for them. The $99 monthly membership pays for the campuses on the current list.
  • You’d trade with money you need. Any market puts your capital at risk, and The Real World’s Terms of Use say it “does not guarantee that use of the Subscriptions will result in any particular financial, business or commercial outcome.”
  • You want investment advice. Nothing taught in The Real World is financial advice, and neither is this page.
  • This page’s limits. “Being merged” is a label we saw in the app on one day. The merge may change, finish or stop; check the app, or this page’s changelog, for the current state.

What to do next

If you came for markets, compare the Trading Campus and Crypto Investing pages, which are both crypto-only and use your own money. If you’d rather learn a skill that needs no trading capital, the guide to The Real World campuses covers the alternatives.
