How Much Do Real World Students Make? 39 Students' Figures

How much do Real World students make? Every figure 39 students give in The Real World's own interviews, by campus, with captions, revenue vs profit and flags.

Stills from four of The Real World's student interview videos, with Nikolai, Ramy, Brice and Austin, each on a video call with an interviewer

Direct answer

How much Real World students make is not published anywhere: The Real World releases no average income and no success rate. The only first-hand figures are in its own promotional interviews, and this page lists every figure 39 students give, campus by campus, in the students' own words. Among the 14 students who give a monthly figure for their own work, the middle figure is around 7,500 to 8,000 a month, and the range runs from about 2,000 to 3,000 a month to $180,000 a month. Those numbers mix revenue and profit, mix currencies, and include several businesses that existed before the student joined. The Real World's captions often give a bigger number than the student does. These are students the platform chose to interview, so they show what was claimed on camera, not what a typical member earns. Results vary, and many members earn nothing.

How much do Real World students make? The Real World, the online learning platform formerly called Hustlers University, doesn’t publish an answer: no average, no median and no success rate. What it does publish is promotional interviews with students. This page lists every figure that 39 of those students give, campus by campus, in their own words and with the time in the video, beside The Real World’s own caption for the same video. For the stories behind the numbers, see the Hustlers University success stories in students’ own words.

How to read these figures

Every row shows what the student says and what The Real World’s caption says, because the two often differ. Four things to keep in mind:

  • Revenue is not profit. Only a few students, such as Jordan, Ryan and Jacob, give both. A business can turn over a lot and keep little.
  • Some businesses existed before joining. Those rows are flagged. A jump at an agency that was already running is a different story from starting at zero.
  • Currencies are mixed. Some students say euros or pounds; many give no currency. This page keeps the student’s own wording.
  • The sample is hand-picked. The Real World chose these students for videos meant to sell memberships. People who earned nothing aren’t interviewed.

The full method, with more examples, is in how to read Real World income claims.

Each quote was checked against two separate machine transcripts of the video’s audio. The captions come from The Real World’s home page as archived in June 2023, or from its saved home page of February 2024 for later videos. Results vary, and none of this predicts what a new member would earn.

The short answer in numbers

Of the 39 students, 14 give a figure per month for their own current work, without a partner’s share or a client’s sales mixed in. Taking the middle of each range they give:

Measure Figure Note
Students with a usable monthly figure 14 of 39 Belmin, Paul, Austin, Federico, Andre, Brice, Sotiris, Ronan, Nikolai, Ramy, Milosh, Garrau, Jacob, Nox
Lowest 2 to 3K a month (Belmin) Belmin’s own words
Middle (median) around 7,500 to 8,000 a month Between Federico’s 5K to 10K and Ronan’s eight grand
Highest $180,000 a month (Nox) Ten years in consulting before joining
Mix Revenue and profit, dollars and euros Jacob’s 60K is revenue; Sotiris’s 7,000 is in euros

That middle figure describes 14 people The Real World chose to put on camera. It is not what a member typically earns, and many members earn nothing.

Copywriting (now Strategic Marketing)

The biggest group: 13 students. The campus is now called Strategic Marketing.

Student In the student’s words The Real World’s caption, and notes
Belmin “making 2 to 3K a month” (2:15); “up to like 20K in euros” in one year (2:36) $10,000/month. Caption higher; later figures are joint with a partner. Belmin’s case study
Paul “four or five thousand” in an average month (1:22) $5k/month. Over 10k a month jointly with two friends (1:34)
Earl “upward of 45,000” in total (2:02); later “upwards of sixty grand” (2:19) $45,000/18 months. Two videos, two totals
Ronan “around eight grand per month” (2:47); in another video, “7K confirmed” plus an undisclosed share (0:31) $8K/month; $7k+/month. Two videos, two figures
Austin “probably between four to 6,000 a month. Sometimes more than that” (1:48) $500,000/year. The caption’s own text says $6k/month
Federico “around 5K, 10K, this kind of range” (1:07) $10,000/month
Nikolai “roughly around like seven to 12 K depending on the month” (0:45) $10k+/month. Was making “two to three K a month” when joining (2:29)
Ardi First paying client: “three thousand eight hundred” (3:39); in another video, “Directly, I’ve made over $20,000” (3:17) $5,000/month. No monthly figure in Ardi’s words
Mathew “32,000” for February (0:26) $25k/month. That figure is a client’s store sales, not Mathew’s income
Veteran G “I made about 90K just in four months” (1:34) $20k/month. Background in management consulting
Shahraja “five figures a month right now” (2:29) $10k+/month. Agency opened before joining; agency revenue
Saad No figure given $30,000/month. The caption’s figure isn’t in either video
Seth “about 6,000 just in copywriting”; now “over 100 grand a year” (3:43) $10k/month. Seth’s case study

Freelancing (now Client Acquisition)

Nine students. The campus is now Client Acquisition. Several were already running something when they joined.

Student In the student’s words The Real World’s caption, and notes
Jordan February: “twenty three thousand” revenue, profit “around about eight and a half”; next month “34K in revenue, 12K profit” (2:41) $60,000/60 days. Jordan says pounds; the caption says dollars. Jordan’s case study
Ted First win “$600” (0:29); later “upwards of 30 grand” in about five months (4:40) $3,000/month; $30K/month. Two captions, two ages
Milosh “anywhere from 10 to 15k a month”, mostly commissions (1:41) $10k+/month. Already had a skill and a niche
Darith “in the range of 250k euro per year, approximately” (0:32) $20k/month. IT freelancing; the caption says the lessons raised Darith’s existing earnings by 25%
Danial “the most I made in a month was $35,000” (1:10) $35k/month. Cleaning company started at 17, before joining; best month
Bando “12k profit in the last two months” (0:14) $6k/month. Profit; was already working before joining
Maktor Amazon FBA: “almost $24,000” in the first three months (0:33) $20k/month. Figures are from Amazon FBA and dropshipping; Maktor says “I’m 19”, the caption says 24
Andre “about 6K commission” (1:25) $6k/month. Lawn care business started years before joining
Alessio Not used $25,000/month. The audio around the figure is unclear

Ecommerce

Eight students, four with full case studies. See the Ecommerce campus page.

Student In the student’s words The Real World’s caption, and notes
Jacob Revenue “about 60K a month”, profit “probably 12 to 15K” (5:05) £20k/month. No currency in the video. Jacob’s case study
Dana “I’ve done over $100,000 so far.” (2:06) $20k/month. Revenue or profit not said. Dana’s case study
Sotiris “last month I made almost 7,000 euros” (2:13) $7k/month. The caption calls it profit. Sotiris’s case study
Matteo “around 35,000 euros of sales” (2:40) $4k/month. Store started before joining. Matteo’s case study
Ryan “about twenty five thousand revenue, about seven grand in profit” in two months (1:21) $2k+/month
Burak “60,000 within three months” (1:24) $66,000 in 3 months. The caption calls it sales
Chihab “around 22,000 euros in about five weeks” (0:26) $4k/month. The caption says €22,000 revenue, €4,500 profit
Garrau “from 2021 to 2022, I made over 500,000” (0:36) in dropshipping; a subscription business makes “40,000 a month” (1:07) $500k. The period starts in 2021; Garrau says the skills came partly from self-study

Business Mastery

Three students, none starting from zero. See the Business Mastery campus page.

Student In the student’s words The Real World’s caption, and notes
Nox “we’re doing $180,000 a month” (1:06, earlier interview) $200k/month. Ten years in consulting. Nox’s case study
Ramy From “around 4k roughly a month” (1:49) to “around 12k a month” (2:02) $12k/month. Agency about three years old when joining. Ramy’s case study
Terell About 30K in “the last four to five months” (0:46) $6k/month. A first business had failed before joining

Content Creation, Marketing, Sales and Amazon FBA

Student (campus) In the student’s words The Real World’s caption, and notes
Mena (Content Creation) “I’ve made close to five figures” since May (4:09) $2k+/month. An eight-year business. Mena’s case study
Giannis (Content Creation + AI) “around $600,000” in the last six months (2:18) $100K/month. Source and revenue or profit not said. Giannis’s case study
Jonathan (Marketing) “we make more than 10k per month consistently” (0:55) $10,000/month. “We”: a business shared with others
Christian (Marketing) “in these past 12 months, I’ve been able to make like over 500k” (1:12) $500k. Revenue or profit not said
Brice (Sales) “In the last month, I made give or take seven grand” (1:43) $7,000/month. Sells a team’s product as a contractor
Dan (Amazon FBA) “I don’t want to disclose exact figures” (0:12) $10k+/month. The caption’s “$50,000 within 4 months” isn’t in Dan’s words

Where the captions and the students differ

The caption is the line The Real World puts beside each video. In this set it often goes further than the student:

  • Austin: the caption’s headline says “$500,000/year”; Austin says four to 6,000 a month, sometimes over 10K, and the caption’s own text says $6k a month.
  • Saad: the caption says “$30,000/month”; neither of Saad’s two videos gives a figure.
  • Dan: Dan declines to give figures; the caption says Dan “earned $50,000 within 4 months”.
  • Mathew: the caption says Mathew “generated over $50,000” in two months; Mathew’s figures are a client’s store sales.
  • Jordan: the caption puts a dollar sign on what Jordan calls pounds, and the figure is revenue.

Sometimes it goes the other way: Mena’s caption says $2k+ a month, lower than Mena’s “close to five figures” since May. More examples are in how to read Real World income claims.

What was left out, and why

  • Trading and crypto results. Several interviews give trading or crypto figures. They aren’t in these tables: they can’t be checked, and they carry real risk. Nothing here is financial advice.
  • Students under 18. Six interviewees are under 18 by the caption or their own words. Their figures aren’t used.
  • Three personal stories. Three interviews include sensitive personal history, and they aren’t quoted without the students’ own consent.
  • Twelve short clips of 30 to 47 seconds, which carry only a name, an age and a caption.
  • Swearing. Where a quote includes swearing, it’s cut with “[…]”.

What these figures can’t tell you

  • They are claims. Nobody in the videos shows accounts, and this site hasn’t seen any.
  • They are selected. The Real World chose these students, so the figures are the top of a range, not its middle.
  • They are old. Most videos look like 2023, when membership cost $49 or $50 a month. It is $99 a month, or $996 a year, today (checked October 19, 2026).
  • They don’t add up to a promise. The Real World’s Terms of Use say it doesn’t guarantee any financial outcome. Results vary, and many members earn nothing.

How long the first money took is covered in how long until your first client or sale in The Real World.

Related questions

How much does the average Real World student make?

Nobody knows. The Real World publishes no average and no success rate, and its interviews are a hand-picked sample. In those interviews, the middle of 14 self-reported monthly figures is around 7,500 to 8,000, but that says nothing about members who were never interviewed.

Is anyone actually making money in The Real World?

Students in The Real World's own videos say they are, and they give figures on camera. The figures can't be checked: no accounts are shown, some are revenue rather than profit, and some come from businesses that existed before the student joined.

What was Hustlers University revenue for students?

Students who joined under the Hustlers University name, such as Earl, Ronan and Jonathan, give figures from upward of 45,000 in total to more than 10k a month. Only a few, such as Jordan and Ryan, split revenue from profit.

Which Real World campus makes the most money?

The interviews can't answer that. The biggest figures come from people with a head start, such as Nox's ten years in consulting or Darith's IT consulting work, and each campus has only a handful of interviews.

Are trading and crypto results included?

No. Trading and crypto figures in the interviews are left out of these tables: they can't be checked and they carry real risk. This page isn't financial advice.
