Who
Shahraja. The caption gives the age as 23 and shows a US flag; Shahraja doesn’t state an age or a country in the video.
Starting point
A sales job “at this high-ticket company”, with “a team of appointment setters” (0:00). Shahraja “kind of knew copywriting before the sales job” (0:37); the team didn’t have much money.
The business
“around May of 2022 is when I opened my own agency” (0:00): a marketing agency started with the appointment setters, before joining.
Campus
Strategic Marketing, which the caption calls Copywriting. Shahraja’s words: “everybody go through the copywriting training, go through all of it” (1:04).
Timeline
Agency in May 2022; joined “around June”; the team picking it up “around July”; the second client “around August” (1:28). The video was on Hustlers University’s home page by 25 June 2023.
Result (video)
“we’re doing consistent five figures” (2:41), the agency’s monthly revenue, which “fluctuates because I have my clients on a revenue share”. No currency.
Result (caption)
The caption: “New revenue: $10k+/month”, “From a broke college dropout to CEO of [their] own marketing agency working with 8-figure clients”, and that Shahraja “enrolled [their] marketing team into Hustlers University to teach them Copywriting”.
The caption and Shahraja agree: five figures a month is $10,000 or more. The caption adds the dollar sign; the agency’s revenue is the question asked in the video. “Broke college dropout” and “8-figure clients” are in the caption only. Shahraja’s view that learning the same elsewhere would cost “eight to 10K” (2:43) is Shahraja’s estimate, not checked by this site. The figures are Shahraja’s and The Real World’s own; this site hasn’t seen them.
What Shahraja said
7 lines from the interview, copied exactly, each with what it means in plain English. The times are where they fall in the video.
“around May of 2022 is when I opened my own agency.”
What it means: The agency came first, a month before joining: a head start, not a from-zero story.
“how can I teach everybody copywriting in a streamlined, simple, yet powerful way on a budget, quite frankly?”
What it means: Why Shahraja joined: a cheap way to train a whole team, not just one person.
“So I got everybody’s subscriptions to Hustlers University at the time.”
What it means: Hustlers University was The Real World’s earlier name.
“around two months of joining The Real World is when I actually started seeing results”
What it means: Results by Shahraja’s count: a second client around August.
“We had sent out like a thousand cold emails to what we thought was our market at the time.”
What it means: Many went to “unqualified leads”: practice more than sales, in Shahraja’s words.
“it can be up, it can be down, but we’re doing consistent five figures.”
What it means: The agency’s monthly revenue, on revenue-share deals. No currency; not profit.
“That was a very iron sharpens iron type of environment.”
What it means: Reviewing other members’ copy is what Shahraja rates in the community.

Transcribed on 5 November 2026 from the interview audio with Whisper speech recognition (run locally): a first pass on 26 October, then two more full passes with the medium and small models; punctuation fixed, fillers and false starts dropped, nothing added; “[unclear]” marks words the passes don’t agree on, or where all three hear something that doesn’t fit (0:44, “my team did it”, where the sense suggests “didn’t”). At 1:21 the end of the sentence is heard as “HU ends” and “at HU”, marked [unclear]. At 2:30 two readings hear “just in five figures” and one “consistent five figures”; all three agree on “consistent five figures” at 2:41. “Hustlers University” is The Real World’s earlier name; the software hears it as “Husser’s” and similar. The video is edited: it starts partway through Shahraja’s story, and the answer at 2:43 follows no question on screen. Speaker labels are ours. The interviewer is from The Real World, not a Tate. Today The Real World is $99 a month on the official checkout.
0:00 Shahraja: Yeah, so around May of 2022 is when I opened my own agency. Before that, I was working a sales job at this high-ticket company. We were selling passive or alternative investments to real estate investors. And I had a team of appointment setters I was working with, but none of us were really vibing with that company. They weren't really pulling in numbers in their sales process and their marketing processes. Both were just not that good. So we all felt like we could do something better. And I had the idea, hey, why don't we start our own company? And we'll just focus our time building that instead of this. So we all left and ended up starting a marketing agency. And I kind of knew copywriting before the sales job, but my team [unclear], and we didn't really have much money. So as any startup, we got innovative. And I thought, how can I teach everybody copywriting in a streamlined, simple, yet powerful way on a budget, quite frankly? So I got everybody's subscriptions to Hustlers University at the time. And I said, everybody go through the copywriting training, go through all of it, reverse engineer some swipe. And then after that's there, I'll teach you some of the advanced stuff. And then it actually laid a pretty good foundation. They all picked it up pretty quickly. So shortly after I started the agency and rolled my copywriters in The Real World [unclear]. Pretty soon after that, I mean, we started in May, I joined The Real World around June, started training my copywriters, and around July, they were actually starting to kind of pick it up. And then around August, we got our second client. So I would say within about two months, yeah, around two months of joining The Real World is when I actually started seeing results. Because while they were learning, they were still beginners. I couldn't really rely on them just yet. But around August, they started getting better, reverse engineering everything. We had sent out like a thousand cold emails to what we thought was our market at the time. We ended up contacting a bunch of unqualified leads, but it was a good learning experience of copywriting practice for them anyway. I mean, yeah, it just gave us a path and we executed it, got results, not so far afterwards.
2:21 Interviewer: Would you be comfortable disclosing a monthly revenue from the agency, or is it confidential?
2:30 Shahraja: We're doing just in five figures a month right now. It kind of fluctuates because I have my clients on a revenue share. So based on the amount of sales they bring in that month, it can be up, it can be down, but we're doing consistent five figures.
2:43 Shahraja: In order to learn the stuff that's taught in The Real World, without The Real World, you would need to buy different copywriting courses from all of these different copywriting gurus, which the cheapest one is probably like 2K. So you'd probably have spent like eight to 10K just to learn all the stuff that's in The Real World from other guys.
3:00 Interviewer: Wow. Did the community have any effect on you or on your employees?
3:07 Shahraja: Yeah, I would say the community was helpful, because I was posting in the community for feedback around the beginning, me personally. And then as my copywriting team was going through it, it was a useful resource, because we would just look at everyone else's submissions. Part of The Real World is to analyze other people's copy. So when other people submit their copy for review, go through it as well. See what they did right, see what they did wrong. That was a very iron sharpens iron type of environment. So while I was teaching them copywriting, they were practicing, they read other people's copy too. And then they compare, they're like, oh, this one's better, this one's worse, mine is better, mine is worse. Their mind starts thinking more accurately to, like, what does good copy look like, just through sheer volume, because they got exposed to so much. And another thing I saw in The Real World was, like, everything you learn in each of the rooms builds off itself. Freelancing helps with copywriting, copywriting helps with freelancing. If you go into e-commerce, you have to market your product. And if you don't know anything about marketing, just learn it in the copywriting room, for example. All of that just helps a lot in mindset and seeing how it all connects. It's like it's one big unified thing.

Follow the daily flow
The #daily-schedule post, “Best simple daily flow”: say GM in #daily-GM, attend the Morning Power Up Call in #power-up-live, do the Dojo Drill of the Day in #the-dojo-hq and the #daily-dojo-puzzle, attend the other live calls when you can, or “watch the recording”.
Study other members’ copy
What Shahraja’s team did: “when other people submit their copy for review, go through it as well. See what they did right, see what they did wrong” (3:26).
What support is like
- #newb-chat. START-HERE sends every question there. The Real World publishes no response-time promise.
- Copy reviews. Shahraja: “I was posting in the community for feedback around the beginning”, and the team learned from everyone else’s submissions: “a very iron sharpens iron type of environment” (3:07). That is Shahraja’s account of the time.
- Live calls. The Morning Power Up Call runs in #power-up-live; a post in #daily-schedule asks members to turn on livestream notifications for the campus’s pop-up calls.
- The Dojo. A channel group with #daily-dojo-puzzle, #the-dojo-hq (the Dojo Drill of the Day) and #the-dojo.
- No guarantee. The Real World’s Terms of Use say it doesn’t guarantee any financial outcome. Every campus starts from the fundamentals and assumes no prior knowledge.
Real wins and reviews
No posts from the Strategic Marketing campus’s own #wins channel have been captured for this site yet, so these are other members’ wins from across The Real World, with names and avatars blurred (any that show this campus come first). Tap any screenshot to see it full size. They are individual results, not typical ones, and not a promise: The Real World doesn’t publish average member earnings.

What members said on Trustpilot
Trustpilot has since removed The Real World’s profiles. These excerpts come from archived copies of those pages, read on 25 October 2026, with the reviewer’s first name, country and date as shown; “Invited” is Trustpilot’s label for reviews that came through a business link. The jointherealworld.com.de profile was not run by The Real World; reviewers used it anyway. They are reviews of The Real World as a whole, not of one campus, and other people’s words, not this site’s findings.
“The biggest thing for me, besides the lessons and the professors, is the community. You have a problem, ask a question in chat, fixed in 5 minutes.”
“after a month, I informed them that their services were not suitable for me. Despite my clear communication, they attempted to withdraw a significant amount of money from my credit card for an additional two months.”
The Real World replied: “turn off auto-renew before your next billing date.”
“Most the informaton you could find for free online in other places but you'll spend more time trying to find a simple step by step guide then using this platform.”
“Despite paying $49 per month (around $300 total), I didn't make any money or gain valuable insights. Much of the content was outdated and U.S.-focused”
“the campuses are also perfect if you are completely new to these methods of wealth creation but it'll take you some time before you see results.”
“The courses themselves are okay, but they're difficult to apply, and getting real clients is even harder. Overall, I don't think this works.”
For the record, the scores on 27 February 2025: the profile at trwstudent.com showed 2.9 from 23 reviews, and therealworldeducation.com showed 4.4 from 82, most of them invited through a business link over two days. Both profiles have since been removed.
Is this path for you?
It may suit you if
- You already run, or are starting, a small marketing business and need a cheap way to train people, as Shahraja did for a whole team.
- You will do the volume: Shahraja’s team sent about a thousand cold emails, many to the wrong people, and learned from it.
- You have no starting capital and a few hours a day. The Real World lists Strategic Marketing among the campuses that “sell a skill instead of a product”.
- You learn by comparing your work with other people’s. Shahraja rates the copy reviews most.
It may not suit you if
- You are shy or timid. In the experience of the member behind this site, selling your writing means talking to clients.
- You expect a from-zero story. Shahraja had a sales background, some copywriting and an agency before joining.
- You read “five figures” as one person’s take-home pay. It is the agency’s monthly revenue, on revenue shares, with no currency.
- You can only give it the odd hour. The official courses page says “the checklist expects a few focused hours per day” and that “Members who treat it as a side interest see little.”
- You need a guaranteed return. The Real World’s Terms of Use say it doesn’t guarantee any financial outcome, and Shahraja’s figures are Shahraja’s own.
Shahraja’s numbers are one student’s account, given in an interview The Real World chose to publish. For more on who it suits and how long it took to feel confident, see the Strategic Marketing campus review, from a member who took the campus when it was still Copywriting, in the Hustlers University days.
